I’ve always preferred Hyderabad Wala, especially the Colony branch, and we’ve also had good experiences at the Irving location. Today, because the Colony branch had almost a 1-hour wait, we decided to try the McKinney branch. We ordered Chicken Dum Biryani, Mutton Dum Biryani, and the Green Chilli appetizer. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The Chicken Dum Biryani was extremely salty, and the Mutton Dum Biryani was excessively oily. It was honestly difficult to enjoy the food, especially compared to the quality we’ve experienced at the other Hyderabad Wala locations. We came with high expectations because we’ve always liked Hyderabad Wala, but this experience was a big disappointment. At this point, I don’t think we would return to the McKinney location. I hope the Hyderabad Wala team looks into the food quality at this branch and takes the necessary steps to improve it.

Really liked this place and there food. I would definitely recommend trying out there biryani, pulao and there deserts. I really like the raspberry malai. The service was also good and the ambiance also.

One of the best meals I’ve had recently! I absolutely loved the Hyderabad Special Chicken dum Biryani and all the appetizers—they were full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The Apricot Delight is a must-try and the perfect way to end the meal. The ambience was warm and inviting, and the service was impressively fast and attentive. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a wonderful dining experience! You should also definitely try their IRANI CHAI

Hyderabad Wala’s Mutton Dum Biryani is on another level! 🔥🍖 The taste, aroma, and authentic dum style are something special. This is the real Hyderabadi gosh (mutton) dum experience — every bite feels like the traditional biryani we crave. I have tried biryanis in many places.
